Hasbro, Inc./RCA RecordsSia has released an uplifting new song, “Rainbow,” from the My Little Pony: The Movie soundtrack.
The track, sung by her character, Songbird Serenade, in the film, is about comforting someone through their pain. The hopeful lyrics talk about weathering the storm until the sun comes out.
“I can see a rainbow/In your tears as they fall on down/I can see your soul grow/Through the pain as they hit the ground/I can see a rainbow/In your tears as the sun comes out,” Sia sings.
“Rainbow” is available as an instant download if you pre-order the soundtrack now.
The album, out September 22, boasts a star-studded track list that include songs from the likes of Lukas Graham, Rachel Platten and DNCE.
My Little Pony: The Movie hits theaters October 6. In addition to Sia, it features the voices of Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Taye Diggs and Zoe Saldana.
